Good Shepherd family.

Father Luke has moved to a new facility. His mailing address is:

Five Loaves- Weekly Scripture Reflection

Mar 30 – Apr 4, 2015 – Holy Week, Year B
Truly this man was the Son of God. ~ Mark 15:39

Our Lenten journey brings us to Holy Week.  As we proclaim the Passion, we remember again the depth of Jesus’ love and his willingness to follow the will of the Father whatever the cost. Will we follow him? Will we trust all that he has shown us, taught us, and challenged us to be as disciples? How do we experience this story of faith in our own lives today? We must stay awake and pray.

About The Five Loaves:  Just like the scripture story, we believe miracles happen when people are willing to offer their simple gifts for the good of others.
Please share this free weekly video reflection. Feel free to post, tweet, or forward a link to those who need to hear the Good News!

Replace Our Roof brochure
Replace Our Roof pledge card

After much deliberation, our Facilities Council recommends that our 60,000 square foot flat roof be replaced sometime in the next year. The council determined that patching once again will increase the likelihood of leaks, not eliminate them.

Website Sponsorships Available!

  • In the weeks ahead, our parish representative from Solutio, Inc., will be setting up the advertising for our website for the year.
  • Please consider participating in this effort since the revenue from the ads is what makes the website possible at no cost to the parish.
  • It’s a great way to get your name in front of the families in the parish.  Advertisements may be purchased for a business, family memorial, or you can sponsor an ad supporting Catholic Charities, Knights of Columbus, Vocations, etc.
  • Please give these ideas some thought. We need and appreciate your help!  If you are interested or just curious as to prices and want more information, please contact 913.667.2087 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
