2014 Easter Schedule

Good Shepherd Holy Week & Easter Schedule
Holy Week has beautiful and inspiring Liturgies. Come and Celebrate the Paschal Mystery.

Holy Thursday Service 7 pm
Hear the Gospel that tells the story of the Last Supper and the Washing of the Feet of the 12 Disciples. We are reminded to be people of service and for us to be "Christ" to those around us. Following the service, there will be Adoration in the Romero Chapel until midnight.

Friday Afternoon 2 pm
Pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet and Stations of the Cross -Travel to Calvary with Christ.

Good Friday Service 7 pm
Venerate the Cross and experience the proclamation of the Passion of Christ.

Holy Saturday - Easter Vigil 8 pm
Listen to the story of our Salvation History. Be present as new members of our parish family are baptized, confirmed and receive their first Eucharist.  The Easter Vigil is a joyful liturgy of music and prayer as we gather to rejoice that Christ has risen and is in our midst. Cupcake reception after the service. Everyone is invited!

Easter Day Masses: 6:30 am, 8:30 am, 10:30 am
Our Lord is Risen!
We are usually blessed with many worshipers on Easter Day, to accommodate everyone, the overflow from the church will be in the Social Hall. Come early to get a seat in the church. (FYI: the 10:30 Mass is usually the fullest, please take this inconsideration when planning).

Five Loaves- Weekly Scripture Reflection

Between Sundays™ is a scripture reflection for the week (anticipatory of the upcoming Sunday).
Each Monday there will be a new video to view on our Home Page, (previous weeks can be found under the "Playlist" tab). Please come back often to explore the Sunday Scriptures.

Easter – The Resurrection of the Lord

Jesus meets the women who have gone to the tomb and says, “Do not be afraid. Tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me.”  What are the miracles of God’s presence and sustaining love we have experienced this year through the words and actions of friends, family, neighbors or even strangers? Just as the Risen Lord encountered the women, the first disciples, and the two on the way to Emmaus, we must pay attention to the unexpected ways God walks with us, teaches us, and invites us to see with “new eyes.” Christ is risen. Christ is risen, indeed! Alleluia!
