Something about Brad

Brad is the sixth of seven children born to Richard and Mary Roder of Remsen, Iowa. The Roders were raised on a corn, soybean and pig farm there in NW Iowa, and attended Remsen St. Mary’s High School.  A basketball/academic scholarship brought him to Benedictine College where he earned a degree in Journalism/Mass Communications in 1995.  Brad moved to Kansas City in 1998 after interning with the Chicago White Sox and worked various jobs in communications until joining a start-up office cleaning business called CleanPro, Inc., which still operates today. In the 6 years prior to joining GS, Brad also worked with Champion Industries, a company rehabilitating foreclosed homes and properties all over Kansas. He took the Custodian position at GS in 2015, and was promoted to Director of Facilities with the retirement of Steve Lemons in 2020. Brad is a father of two sons, Paice (2005) and Tate (2006), and currently resides in Lenexa. He is an outdoorsman, loves fixing and rehabilitating things,  gardening, playing basketball, riding his electric bike, swimming, camping, barbecuing and being with his boys.

Brad es el sexto de siete hijos nacidos de Richard y Mary Roder de Remsen, Iowa. Los Roders fueron criados en una granja de maíz, soja y cerdos allí en el noroeste de Iowa, y asistieron a la preparatoria Remsen St. Mary's.
